Did no one else notice the _huge_ pupils in her eyes? That had to be the result of some kind of drug. Otherwise her demeanor seemed more or less normal, but those _were_ some freakishly large pupils. ---

It’s because what elected Trump is not “liberals”, it’s a subculture of ignorant right-wing troglodytes such as yourself. It’s a subculture that has been enabled and its scope expanded by propagandizing media like Breitbart, Fox News, hundreds of lesser organizations, and the malign and manipulative influence of social media driven by a small handful of powerful interests that manipulate and undermine democracy to their own ends, billionaires like the Kochs and, in this election particularly, [the billionaire Robert Mercer](http://www.cbc.ca/news2/interactives/sh/wex94ODaUs/trump-robert-mercer-billionaire/) and his lunatic offspring (his daughter Rebekah, the Wicked Witch of the East, just by way of example is an influential member on the boards of both Breitbart and Cambridge Analytica, following a pattern of familiar connections we see over and over again). It’s been further enabled by the apathy of the average voter, who has grown so cynical of this shambles of democracy that he stays home on election day. That’s what got Trump elected, not dirty song lyrics. You are an insufferable idiot. ---

Will someone please explain something to me? I confess up-front I didn’t watch the interview and don’t intend to — my queue of Youtubes on science, history, music, snooker(!) and real news is too long already. I did see the headline: “Stormy spanked Orangey!” — hadn’t she already told us that in a years-ago interview? Trump likes to fuck women who are not his wife? We already knew that; Orangey brags about it. Orangey lied? Orangey brags about lying; his base respects him for it. IOW, there was absolutely nothing news-worthy about Stormy’s tell-all. Zero, Nada, Zilch. This is a man who has appointed John Bolton to be National Security Advisor. He or his appointees have decimated the Depts. of State, Energy, Education, etc.; decimated the Paris Accord, TPP etc. He has brought worldwide ridicule on the U.S., increased the chance for war or other foreign disaster; and credible evidence suggests _he is literally serving as a stooge for America’s enemy Vladimir Putin_. :eek: _ **Yet for days, nine of the top ten news hits have been Stormy, Stormy, Stormy.** _ Nothing but Stormy. Have America’s priorities become so absurd? However stupid Trump may be — and I’ll concede that he appears to be an imbecile — the “typical American news consumer” seems to be at least as stupid. What people don’t like is being attacked and called names the instant you sense some degree of opposition. They don’t like that it’s virtually impossible to keep bad guys in jail and how prevalent and widespread crime has become. They don’t like what our educational system has become, where college graduates speak in ways that never would have passed 8th grade English in 1960, people can’t do math, and that the primary function of education these days seems to be to crank out as many pro-liberal students as possible. They don’t like that you’ve not only increased the danger of crime but are simultaneously trying to take away their ability to defend themselves from it. Etc., etc., etc. None of this realistically has anything to do with racism or sexism. What it has to do with is a desire to live like civilized human beings free from filth and crime and an ever encroaching government trying to tell them how to live their lives.
