I’m not sure how ironic you meant that last thread to be, but the thread you were referring to WAS a perfect thread. Poster starts thread complaining about not getting to complain enough, mods state their case and tell him to listen more and complain less.  
And lock it down in an effort to assist him. Good for everything.
