Timberlake sounds awesome as Boo Boo. Acroyd is not quite as good at Yogi, but it’s okay. The main thing that bothers me is that the CGI on the bears sucks. The trailer even had a CGI pie that looked really fake. I don’t mind the rangers sounding different, and i wish we could have heard Cindy, even if they don’t want us to see her. BTW, someone upthread mentioned 3D Bugs Bunny. Oddly enough, I think the Bugs Bunny of Space Jam did the best at this. Yes, he’s still drawn, but he looked like he took up 3D space. IF there was a way to get 2D animation to look good in 3D movies, I’d be all for it. ---

I’m sorry, but kids today don’t appreciate the classics? Kids today are WATCHING the classics. Kids today get to see cartoons like SpongeBob, which is as good a cartoon as has ever been broadcast on TV. They go to the movies and see Pixar films, which are masterpeices. The quality of TV and movie cartoons being put out these days is fricking through the roof. ---

Someone created a very elaborate [parody](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6w0r-ScEG4) of the Yogi Bear movie. The New York Times [article](http://artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/12/13/warner-brothers-wont-fight-yogi-bear-video-parody/) on it suggested that it’s based on the recent film _The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford_ (which I haven’t seen).
