That's it. I quit collecting comics!

I WAS only buying two of the four: OMAC (only because I wanted to see what happened with the aftermath of Ted’s death, and what Booster and Max would be up to), and VU (because I’m a Deadshot mark and I love villain-centric stories). The other two just didn’t interest me.

Games, eh? Hmmm… I might have old Board and PS2 Games…

I’m buying all four, and I’m not even a regular comics reader. I don’t even know who half the people in these books are; I’m learning about a lot of them as I go along. I only started going to the shop regularly in the first place because Doom Patrol was revived, and I got hooked into following a few other series along the way. (I definitely would have followed Seven Soldiers anyway, assuming I heard about it.) DC’s ploy of introducing Infinite Crisis with the 99-cent special worked in my case. At first I was planning to skip Rann-Thanagar, as that thread seemed like an irrelevancy shoehorned into the Countdown (“Oh, by the way, Mr. Strange called. He and Mr. Hawkman can’t make it to your party due to a war in outer space.”), but I ended up reading that one too. DP will end after three more issues; once the Crisis stuff and Seven Soldiers wrap up, I’ll probably be done with comics for the time being–unless any of the inevitable spinoffs seem worth following.
