Since OSX, Apple has been using a running theme of big cats. Panther, Jaguar and Tiger. Maybe Longhorn is the start of a cattle theme. Next will be Brahma, Jersey, Angus, Watusi …

(Kidding…my granddad was a Longhorn, and I lived in the Austin area for seven years. I sort of have an automatic response to things Aggie. Nothing personal. _g_)

Or after a popular bar in the British Columbia area…Longhorn.
