I was excited that I knew that one, but did feel bad for the woman who said “blue whale”.

Well for me, yes. Though as none of the contestants got it I guess it’s not as common in general as I would have thought. As I have watched many documentaries about early New York/Hollywood/Broadway and work in stock footage, I’ve seen the still of that headline loads of times. YMMV.

I knew Ponzi instantly, but had no idea about “Wall Street Lays an Egg.” I replied “Sticks Nix Hicks Pix” which I learned from the movie Yankee Doodle Dandy.
