On the old board I made a topic of the old saw from The Office, “that’s what she said.” When I read it the next day I was embarrassed about how lame it was, especially since The Office first aired in 2006. Is anyone not sick of this joke? What can I say, I didn’t watch the show much when it first came out, and I just recently watched if from the beginning. Anyway, sitting her by myself for 4 months all by myself, sans the weekly visit from my brother where we “quaff a few root beers”, I came up with a variation. Not one to be funny, necessarily, but to be clever. The only example I have is one I have stolen from a fellow poster here, sorry I can’t remember who. But Trump’s comment about how if we test more that means we will have more cases. And this poster said, “Schrodinger’s virus” So here is the joke- Someone brings up Trump’s statement about testing for COVID, and you say, say it with me- That’s what Schrodinger said. ---

BTW, “that’s what she said” goes back A WHOLE LOT further than 2006. I remember hearing it in the 70s, and it was just as lame then. ---
