I am going to have to pass on the dinner, so I will be one of those joining you all later at the Monte Carlo Brewpub - about 8:30 or 9:00 or so. (BTW, tis a tad warm in Vegas currently, so for our out-of-town guests, be sure to bring those swim suits, and a light sweater…yes, you heard me right…a light sweater…whenever it is this hot, the casinos crank the air conditioners up and I guarantee there will be a few times you notice you are shivering from the cold in some of those places, especially if you sit and play a machine for more than 30 minutes, of if you go to see one of the big shows on The Strip.) ---

I hope folks are not bowing out of dinner because of the part of town the Lotus of Siam is in. Seven can ride in the YetiMobile, safety in numbers and all that. At any rate, it won’t really matter as long as EVERYBODY!!!11 comes to the Monte Carlo Brewpub later on. I haven’t been to Vegas in over 3 years, I’m really looking forward to hanging with you guys, tossing back a few brews, taking Yeti’s money, and cheering Aholibah to victory. ---

Reservation has been made. 6:30 pm for 10 people. [Lotus of Siam](http://www.saipinchutima.com/) is at 953 E Sahara Ave, east of the the strip. There is a link to mapquest on that web site. It doesn’t face the street, rather it is in a large strip mall and all the shops face into the center. I think it’s called Commerce Center or something like that; it’s not too hard to find. It’s on the south side of the road. ---

Final weather report - just on the news a few minutes ago, it will be in the low 100’s, however, chance of severe thunderstorms (usually late afternoons) every day through next Tuesday…which means it might be a bit more humid that usual here. Looking forward to seeing everybody at MC Brewpub Friday night! And for those looking for something to do afterwards, there is a free “dueling pianos” show at NYNY, the casino directly next door to the Monte Carlo.
