Wings showed up tonight. On to San Jose. I wasted all my money going to game 6, it was terrible. Yet, I had a great time tonight watching game 7 on tv. Ironic, isn’t it? 😃 ---

Their physical game was a shadow of it’s former self. There was no pressure. They stopped playing like they wanted to win and started playing like they were scared to lose. This game is exactly why Mike Green didn’t make Canada’s Olympic team. That second goal killed the Capitals, and his penalty to give the Habs their first goal was idiotic. ---

Shocker! Round 2 East: (4)Pittsburg vs (8)Montreal I like the Caps and Ovechkin, but they choked last year and choked even more this year. Montreal’s win was the result and their cindrella story is gonna come to an end against Cindy Crosby, Maxine and the Pens. Pens in 5. (6)Boston vs. (7)Flyers Flyers in 6 West: (1)Sharks vs (5)Wings I can’t bet against the Wings, so I say Detroit in…6? (2)Blackhawks vs. (3)Canucks This is gonna be tight. 7 games definitely. I guess the winner will be Chicago. Tough call. ---

Hope you’re as accurate as you were early in the thread when you predicted a Caps sweep. Edited to add: I think the Caps played a slightly stronger game than the Habs, but Halak still saved it. ---
