I’ve been wondering about this Homeland show. I find Claire Danes annoying as a human being, but this show has been dominating the awards shows and been garnering a lot of acclaim. Right now I am bummed out by it because it’s been taking awards away from Breaking Bad (my favorite) and other shows I like, and my phone is buzzing with texts from my Downtown Abbey-obsessed friends. 😛 ---

Nice to see Max Greenfield get a nom, even if he was up against Ed Harris and Mandy Patinkin (who draws up these categories, anyway?). I think his Schmidt on New Girl is an absolute riot. ---

Someone pointed out on the New York Times live blog that the official Golden Globes Twitter feed is posting the winners prior to the opening of the envelope. I was curious, so I checked and found it was true for Don Cheadle’s win just now. ---
