Back from breakfast and Loweā€™s. Thatā€™s becoming a normal Saturday thing here. We also stopped at an auto parts store for a replacement brake light. A nice lady waved at us at a redlight and told us our left brake light was out. Now itā€™s back in. šŸ˜ƒ Thanks, lady! šŸ˜ƒ The dishwasher is doing its washing thang. Iā€™ve got a space heater taking the chill off my studio. \*\*FCD \*\*is taking Higgs to get her nails trimmed. Iā€™m going to change into grubbies before heading back to my studio. Iā€™ve got to make 5 items for my sis, and those should just about fill the kiln. Itā€™s overcast and chilly and breezy and very un-springlike. I am not amused. ---

ā€˜Tis raininā€™ and we are in definite lazy mode. As for puttinā€™ the grill together, weā€™re fixinā€™ to start to commence considerinā€™ when we might want to begin gettinā€™ it together. Southern USofA Mumpers will know what that means. In the meantime, I have cut up summer squishes, zucchini, and N.O.T. which will be baked in the oven for tonightā€™s dindin. Yep, itā€™s a Sattidy whirlwind of activity around heah! ---

Morninā€™ everybody! My sweetie brought me a bacon and egg sammich and donuts. šŸ™‚ Just as I was fixin to think about maybe getting up from my seat Cat 3 (Panda) decided to hop in my lap. It would be plain rude to move her. šŸ˜‰ Todayā€™s list shall include: laundry, packing for Lost Wages, packing Girl child for science camp, grocery shopping and a quick pharmacy run. The weather improved (understatement - from stormy and chilly to sunny and bright blue skies) and weā€™re about to go wander around our Alma mater campus (hook 'em!) after a lovely brunch. Happy Saturday! Itā€™s cold, too cold. When Sah-son let the dog out I got a blast of cold air all the way into the living room. I woke up in the middle of the night again, but instead of trying to sleep I got up and got some stuff done. Which leads to the question of I was poking through some of the boxes that are sitting in the middle of the kitchen and I found stuff that belongs to my motherā€™s previous deceased bf. Not the one who just died, the one before him. The box has some fabric in it and some other sewing notions and there was an envelope his stuff. I know I didnā€™t put it there. ---

Back from the shore; 2 hours down, 2 hours back. Stayed for 4. Turns out their hotspot was fried, so we went to the Verizon store & got another free (they had this one close to 4 years so the update was due). Both are now happy again with internet access, and I got a little work done. Dad said he felt bad having me come down and deal with this. I reminded him how much shit Iā€™ve put them through in the 48 years of my existence, itā€™s the least I could do. Housecleaning, cooking & laundry tonight and tomorrow. Glad to see the MMP is returning to normal. ---

Hi Everybody! Hope all are well šŸ™‚ I had a busy workweekā€¦ followed by a busy weekend so far. Today I spent most of it driving - went up to Washburn to get a new kitteh from a shelter up there. Heā€™s already settled in like heā€™s been here forever, and my other 3 are happy with him. I have never had a cat settle so instantly before, without any hissyfits! He was meant to be. šŸ˜ƒ Not much else happening, finally relaxing in my chair with the laptop for whatā€™s left of the day. Tomorrow will be laundry and chore day.
