And we’re back. The surgery went great. \*\*FCD \*\*was walking with just a cane - he said his knee feels better than it has in weeks! Honestly the worst part of the whole day was waiting and waiting at CVS. He’s got antibiotics and pain meds, and he’s supposed to keep icing the knee while he’s awake. He’s not supposed to shower till Friday, but if we can rig up something to keep his knee dry, he might be able to clean up. My sister suggested a big plastic bag secured with duct tape. I need to read the instructions they sent home - I can’t remember everything the doc said. But it looks like it done the job. So Huzzah!! ---

Lots of washcloths at the sink do the trick. ‘Birdbathing’ can be quite refreshing while injured. ---

You do realize it’s only the most serious of crimes that have high bail requirements. My guess is that it would be the other prisoners pooling their canteen funds to bail you out! :o Has anyone seen my sunglasses? They’re not where they should be & I don’t remember where I may have placed them over a week ago. ---

\*\*Spidey \*\*- the tape would go over the plastic, not the skin. We’re not savages!! I just need to figure out a proper gasket to keep water from dripping into the bag. The two loaves of 'nanner bread are in the freezer, and the bundt is on a plate for convenient snacking. Since we had lunch so late, no supper tonight, but snackage will ensue eventually. All of a sudden, I’m exhausted! This has been one crazy day. ---

Yanno, it’s bad enough getting spammy email, or even the “Share this with 10 people” FB posts, but today I got a “Share this crap with whoever…” sorta private message on FB - apparently, my “friend” shared it with 18 others. I wish there was a way to block that kind of crap without blocking the individual. Instead, I just deleted it and bitched here about it. 😃 ---

I almost went to jail once, but only once. I imagine there are others on here who have some cool stories to tell. Made it to the armpit. There must be something about Rt 70. Last time when I went home there was a row of cars off on the shoulder changing flat tires. Today an emergency vehicle was riding in the left land and started to move over to the middle but he stayed blocking both lanes. You could tell he was really pissing off the people behind him. Up ahead was another emergency vehicle on the right shoulder who tried to pull out in front of me but I moved to the middle and went around him. Really I had no clue wtf he was trying to do, but as I passed him he turned on his flashing lights and siren. Then he blocked the right and center lanes. A little way up was a row of cars off on the shoulder changing flat tires. Anyway, I’m glad I made it through because traffic behind us was brought almost to a standstill. I guess somebody is dropping stuff in the highway that is flattening tires. I wonder if it’s on purpose or just stuff falling off trucks? ---
