In general, I prefer my mythology to have evolved with people over time rather than being invented on the spot. Lucifer/Satan/serpent/Tempter/whoever as rebel against an enslaving god is hardly a new idea, but it generally springs from someone who just wishes to look cool for having “forbidden” ideas. _meh_ ---

The internet is truly amazing thing, possibly one of the most transformative inventions - ever. It’s ability to allow for the near instantaneous spreading of information is awe-inspiring. Unfortunately, it also allows just about anybody to post meaningless crap. [forbiddenknowledge.com](http://forbiddenknowledge.com) is Exhibit A for the latter. ---

You’ve got one group saying “Our ancient texts say God is the good guy.” And now you’ve got another group saying, “Our ancient texts say God is the bad guy.” Why should we listen to either group?
