The resumption/renewal/repeated Carroll defamation trial is live today. The judge is not having with Habba. Trump is the usual asshole. " Judge Lewis Kaplan called for a trial recess when Habba improperly began reading from one of those harassing messages before entering it into evidence. After the jury left the courtroom for the break, Kaplan told Habba, “You should refresh your memory about how it is you get a document into evidence.” _It’s not the first time Kaplan has admonished Habba today._\* Earlier, he told her that in his courtroom and any other federal courtroom she needed to stand while speaking. And after Kaplan denied her earlier motion to not hold the trial on Thursday and the judge told her to sit down, Habba said, “I don’t like to be spoken to that way.” From the live CNN coverage. ---

The whole thing about delaying the proceedings so that he can attend his MILs (Melaniamom’s) funeral (the Judge nixed this idea) … If you’re Trump, and – assuming, [_ **arguendo** _](https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/arguendo), that you are _not_ an idiot … Would you let Alina Habba represent you without adult supervision … for even a single day? Maybe that isn’t a petard by which his crapulence wishes to be hoisted. ---

To the moon, Alice!” was obviously said in jest, and though Ralph and Alice had their humourous differences, the premise of the sitcom is that they had a very loving relationship. Even I am not nearly old enough to remember the original broadcasts, but it was widely syndicated and is still available on DVD.
