When I was watching the rat challenge and one of the teams\* was having trouble with their rat, I was so hoping they would say, “My rat is broken!”. \*I can’t remember which team. My teething baby was screaming and the decible level was high enough to apparently give me temporary brain damage. ---

'Splain something, please. I was doing dishes and must have missed something. How did Shmirna get back into 1st after being dead last in the rat race? \ What order were they in getting the clue for the detour? If they were still in last place, that’s some pretty fast fingernail-painting! ---

The teams that went straight got to the cluebox much caster (Eric and Danielle got very lost, for example). Charla and Mirna were one of the first to get to the cluebox and the first to choose the fingerpainting detour. ---

That would have been awesome, but I doubt it would ever have happened. Mirna would more likely have screamed, “You’re doing it wrong! _Rapido!_ Oh, my midget is broken!” Which also would have been hysterical. ---

Teri & Ian were last to the Detour clue box (IIRC), and _third_ to the mat. (Their driver got lost, they wound up at the nail-polish detour instead of the coal-lugging detour, so decided to do the one they were at. Lucky choice for them, as it turned out.) ---

[/QUOTE] Yeah, but I think Schmirna were the beneficiaries of a lot of dumb luck this leg. There wasn’t a whole lot of racing to be done and there were two major bunchings so pretty much everything before the Roadblock didn’t matter. Schmirna benefitted from the dumb luck of people choosing the wrong Detour option for a variety of wrong reasons. Guido and Cha Cha Cha, I think, both took Porter to avoid looking like stereotypical fags on TV and a couple of the mixed-sex teams took it because they assumed that people wouldn’t want men giving them manicures. Had any of the teams who got the Detour before they did taken Pamper then Schmirna wouldn’t have come in first. I wanted to watch Phil fleeing from Cha Cha Cha again this morning but my old VCR, pre-DST start change, has decided to randomly gain or lose an hour and so I didn’t get it taped. I’m quite sad. ---

**Otto** - Since when have Guido or Danny and Oswald _ever_ done anything to keep from looking like stereotypical fags? Particularly Danny and Oswald! I laughed a lot at D&O chasing Phil around. I’d chase Phil too, if he’d let me catch him. I think Schmirna took the challenge that made sense for them, and boy did it work out. I wonder if there’s any rule against bribing someone to buy something from you? “I’ll give you $5 if you hire me to do your nails”. Well, that just sounds sort of perverted, but you know what I mean. Eric’s comment was way out of line. I kind of thought the rats were cute in their little harnesses. StG ---

Eric and Danielle’s driver acted like they were going to pass the Guidos’ vehicle on the way to the roadblock. For some reason unbeknownst to those of us at home, one of the Guidos took offense to this and uttered the title line. It wasn’t a response to anything offensive that Eric said, as the Promo Monkeys had intimated last week (Eric did eventually make with the offensive at the end of the episode, but it wasn’t to the Guidos’ faces). Edit: And is there any way to have a two way tie at the finish line? I love the BQs, but Cha Cha Cha is a very close second. I don’t think I’ve ever paused the DVR to laugh before, but I did at Ozzy’s “faggy racoon” comment. 😃 Between that and the “apply makeup to you” comment to the rat, and the “last of the Mohicans” cab driver, I was rolling all night. ---
