It’s all well and good to be able to do challenges quickly and well, but it’s _more_ important to be able to _get_ to the challenges without losing a half-hour or more from getting lost. As far as I can tell, C&C haven’t gotten lost _once!_. ---

What’s next, a universe with physical laws? 😕 **Lib** , I’m not sure if you’re being sarcastic here, but to me, it’s _waaaay_ blaphemous to treat God as a cosmic slot-machine who dispenses prizes if you say the magic words juuuuuust right. Brandon treats God in _exactly_ that way. He _never_ asks God to help him understanding God’s will, he never asks God for God’s help for courage, or patience, he treats God like a spoiled 8 year old treats an over-indulgent parent. The kind who, when dad walks in the door, doesn’t say “Hi Daddy! I missed you”, but says “What’d ya bring me?” and I find that offensive as hell. It might actually be the Moms Yielding the Blue Lagoons or C&C. Or not. And the way I was brought up, Brandon should be asking for patience and strength, not, “Help me find this Clue.” ---

Fenris, Bibliocat: I’ve looked at the footage again, frozen the frames, and still… …it looks like a caucasian hand and forearm to me. It is tan, but not all that dark. The arm has a bit of sparse white hair. The thumbnail is wide and short. And the knuckless are knotty. It still looks like Blue Lagoon’s hand to me. Nevertheless, you’re right, it could be a production assistant for that matter. ---

Spot on, old chap, spot on. **Fenris** , you have no idea what Brandon asks God for outside of the three or four one sentence prayers we’ve heard on the show, uttered in moments of travail. It’s particularly galling to think that you have nearly enough insight into his spiritual practices from the caricature of him shown on reality television to call him blasphemous. Besides ask, seek, knock. That’s _exactly_ what we’ve seen of Brandon’s prayers thus far. ---

I have a question about something from a few episodes ago. The bowling moms told the dad and daughter team (John and Marsha?) that they could only exchange their money at the airport, because the taxi drivers couldn’t do that for them. Was that a misunderstanding on the moms’ part or a deliberate lie? I can’t calibrate my degree of delight in a team’s bad luck if I don’t have a bead on how evil they are, after all. ---

According to Jim and Marsha on their Early Show interview, they overhead the Bowling Moms talking about changing their money. They never outright told the other team to go to the moneychanger. ---
