The real trick is not to actually do a SDMB shout out, but to blackmail the editors into including it in the show. A better idea would be a shirt or hat with an SDMB shoutout.

I recommend a T-shirt that says “HI OPAL!” Or maybe a hat that says “I (HEART) ED Z.” Can’t really get more obvious than those.

Have a bunch of shirts printed with the various rankings (“Cruisin’ with Earl”, “In the Passing Lane”, etc.) and change them depending on how well you’re doing in the race.

Oh my god you are BRILLIANT! (Can you guys tell I’m really excited for the Race to start again, and for **Max Carnage** to possibly be on it? _Squeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!_)

But I’m afraid of John…in his picture he looks like a cross between that guy from Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Satan…
