Isn’t it a bit odd that there are no married couples, and no siblings? I guess America just can’t get enough of dating couples testing their relationship. ---

Jill and Thomas are going to be that boringly competent final 3 couple, like Megan and Cheyne. I hope the Tattoopids stick around for a few weeks–they were comedy gold! The guy looking behind a flag to try to find a flag had me rolling, and I still can’t understand how they missed the boats…and then they figured out the most efficient way to use the boats out of any of the couples in about five seconds. I’m not sure if they’re idiot savants, or if this was a case of a broken clock being right twice a day. The non-watermeloned HSN girl reminds me of the non-midget cousin from about 10 seasons back in voice and looks. What were their names? I can’t even remember. I’m impressed how well her partner bounced back (ha!) from taking a watermelon to the melon, though. A 4th-place finish is amazing, given the fact that she’s lucky to have not broken bones or gotten a concussion. I bet she felt all new parts of her face the next day. I wonder how much makeup they’ll put on her to cover the bruises. Chad is the kind of guy who makes fun of homos but takes videos of himself teabagging guys who pass out at his frat parties. ---

I can understand how they missed the boats. If I was told to go look for a boat, I’d be looking for a boat – not something that looks like half a walnut shell. ---

Plus all the coracles were upside-down, so they don’t immediately _look_ like boats, being convex rather than concave. I wonder how long they actually spent confused about the boats. The editing made it look like it was a long time, what with the multiple over-the-shoulder shots of the coracles, but it could have only been 40 seconds as they pondered their options, then turned around and saw the boats. ---
