# The Amazing Spider-Man Trailer

Looks like fun. My main reservation is that every other character seems to know that Peter Parker is Spider-man. Maybe it’s just the way the trailer is cut. But he does appear unmasked a lot.

I’m coming to it as a fan who grew up reading comics in the 60’s. In those days, _nothing_ was more important than the secret identity. I mean, when Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent accidentally discovered they were Superman and Batman, that was a BIG deal. God forbid anyone else ever find out, especially a bad guy.
