I am _not_ making this up! Go ahead! Google it if you don’t believe me! Its the American Cornhole Association! They’re in Ohio, Iowa’s evil twin. Its like a bean bag kind of game, or so they claim. But who to Pit? I mean, I just figure this goes into the Pit for potential crudity. But what do you pit? Their entirely incredible brain-dead naivite? No, no way, no chance that nobody snickered out loud when they first read out the name. So, what is it, post-modernist irony from Ohio? What gets into peoples minds when they pull crap like this! Its just a friggin’ bean-bag, except with corn instead of beans, its “bean bag”, why go to the trouble to name something corn-hole unless you are being smutty? The opposite example, I suppose, would be when Green Bay dropped the word “Fudge” from thier football team’s name, in an effort to be more mainstream. (What, you didn’t know? Oh, yeah, the Packers, gayest team in football till the Cowboys came along. Well, I mean, you know, _Wisconsin_… ---

Hrrrm, further perusal of their site doesn’t reveal if the much sought-after American Cornhole Association is endorsing Bush or Kerry. I can certainly see strong arguments/slogans to be made each way: Bush and Cornole just don’t go together! John Kerry: Soft on Cornhole. ---

Ugggh. I come from Price Hill, the Cincinnati neighborhood that bears most of the responsibility for popularizing this travesty. It produces more cops and firefighters per acre than any other ‘hood in the town. Tough, upstanding, high-school football lovin’ conservative types. You don’t know _how_ amusing it is to hear a police officer who probably used to 'pants you in junior high talking about cornholing at the family 4th of July barbecue. ---
