Off-topic - interesting sordid, almost open-and-shut case with Josh Hawley, where a considerable amount of Republicans don’t want **anything** to do with him, yet, there is no other Republican, period, who’d garner the attention of Trump’s base in 2024. Him, or they won’t vote. Also, once again - I’ve invented new vernacular… “naything” - (abstract noun) - which was a typo on “anything”. Seriously - waving your arms at someone, you can declare: “I don’t want _NAY-THING_ to do with you! Naything!..NAY!” (Your welcome.) 😒 🕶 ---

I remember the live feed went down when they started evacuating the chambers. As it is broadcast throughout the building, I’m figuring that they didn’t want to have the evacuating lawmakers locations up where anyone could see it. ---

I wasn’t thinking that the cameras were turned off because it was part of a conspiracy to hide what was happening, and my thought was that the last thing you would want to do if you are under attack is turn off the video evidence. So the article did not specify if the cameras were turned off entirely. The article said “turned off”. From what you have said, I doubt it. ---

This is something I have been worried about. _In one instance, a line of counter-protesters advanced on a smaller group of people from the Patriot March, shouting and telling them to leave. One member of the group, who was dressed in all black with their face covered, pulled out a can of chemicals and sprayed it in the Trump supporters’ faces._ This is going to be the lead story on FOX all day tomorrow and from now on. "See, it is Antifa who are the violent ones! MAGAs, with the exception of a tiny minority at the Capitol, were just using their constitutional right to protest. And in San Diego, these great Patriots were attacked by an Antifa mob. " Damned if you do… What should the response to Fascist Trumpers demonstrating be? Just ignore them? I think that is it, you can’t have a new Civil War if you don’t engage those trying to start one. But how do you igrnore Fascists demonstrating in the streets?
