Perhaps McConnell was less tolerant of Trump’s assassination attempt than Pence. Perhaps McConnell has been getting calls from the only supporters that matter to him, pointing out that Civil War II is not so great for corporate profits. Perhaps McConnell is finally making a principled stand. J/K with the last one. ---

Joe knows how to get shit done. That’s why we needed someone with experience who has been around the Senate block a few times, i.e., a grownup. Running something by Mitch when it wasn’t necessary was a very good move. ---
