I have the misfortune of belonging to the same demographic as most of those expected to participate in armed protests (white male in his 50s). Their bladders have had them all up for five or six hours now. If they’re not on the move by now, they’re probably not going anywhere. ---

Well, there are about 60 outside the Michigan capitol building in Lansing. There were going to be thousands, apparently, but it’s snowing. Although if you live in Michigan and you are deterred by snow, you might want to think about moving to Texas. ---

I was thinking earlier that during the Red Scare, Commies (or suspected Commies) who didn’t exhibit radical behavior were derided as “parlor pinks.” What should we call these “patriots” who have all of a sudden realized that going beyond their usual bluff&bluster might have negative consequences?
