The Democrats need to be careful with this. If it’s true it’s a bomb and it almost certainly ends Boebert’s political career; it might end in prison. If it’s false or dubious it’ll be a serious overreaction of the riot. We will never hear the end of the “Democratic lies”. ---

Though Boebert had been defensive about it apparently even before Cohen named names, as there was chatter already. Boebert is categorically denying that she gave _any_ tours or had anyone in the Capitol other than a few relatives. It seems like this would be something that is fairly easy to check - aren’t all visitor entries recorded somewhere? Maybe she’s dumb enough to tell a lie here knowing she’ll be caught, but it’s also possible the accusations are mistaken. ---

The article doesn’t say. Take it up with DB; they’re the ones who are claiming Democrats are making the accusation. For the purpose of this discussion I’m assuming that it’s true unless I hear otherwise. ---

Anyway, no matter what Democrats do or say, Republicans are going to scream “_ **Democrat lies!** _” every time a Democrat speaks. It’s part of the playbook, that way they can lie their asses off about everything like they always do…then scream _ **both sides!** _ when they get caught. ---
