Even though my car is a 2003, it is apparent that the American Family Association is using [reverse pscyhology](http://www.boycottford.com/) to ensure that I go and buy a Jaguar. I can think of no better reason than to finally break my 20 year habit of owning non-Fords than Ford’s commitment to GBL causes\*. I might be a heterosexual lapsed Christian, but anything I can do to undermine evil such as the AFA is effort well-spent. ---

Oops… forgot to add my footnote: - That’s hyperbole, of course. There are lots of things that would justify changing one’s habits more than support for GBL issues. However, it’s still a damn **good** reason. ---

So Ford is trying to entice teh gays huh? Well, that would explain a lot then. See, I happen to be one of teh gay people. I recently purchased a brand new 2005 Ford Mustang Convertible. It’s dark metallic gray with red leather interior. It’s so purty! I purchased this vehicle even though I have a perfectly good Chevrolet Blazer and Chevy Truck. Here I was blaming it on some kind of midlife crisis when obviously Ford has been using some kind of subliminal advertising aimed at teh gays! How devious! Midlife crisis my ass! I was deceived into buying my 'Stang! Good thing for Ford it’s so day-ummn fun to drive is all I gotta say! ---

Wasn’t Paris Hilton selling cars recently? I keep seeing that stupid commerical. She really loves that car, enough that the car probably needs an STD screening by now. ---

Hopefully another moderator will correct me if I’m wrong about that. Anyway, the thread seemed like more of a pro-Ford discussion than an anti-AFA rant which is why I moved it. If it ends up getting heated, it can easily be moved back to the Pit. ---
