I’ve just put together a little program that will compute the scores easily. I’ll post an update of everyone’s score after each elimination show. By the way, the maximum score possible is 75. Good luck, everyone! ---

I’ll buck the Melinda trend, just for fun. She’s the obvious choice based on talent alone, but I think the “youth” factor plays into this a lot, so the ones who can appeal to a young demographic of voters will stick around longer: 1. Lakisha can certainly sing, but I’m betting between the “she’s so good she doesn’t need my vote” boredom factor and Simon realizing how ghetto she is and that she’ll be difficult to control so he’ll stop pimping her, yep she’ll be the big surprise vote off no one expects this year. ---

Well, Brandon getting the boot keeps things simple enough that we can run the update without **Pleonast** ’s program for this week. We had three players pick up points in the opening round: 1st: **Omega Glory** with three points. 2nd: **Reloy3** and **Tangent** with one point each. 3rd: Everyone else with a big fat goose egg. Ok Sanjaya…you and I both know it – you _need_ to get yer ass booted off next week, right? ---

Well, there’s a slight chance next week will be my lucky week since I picked Sanjaya (pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease) but I picked Jordin for the week after. I figured that she or Stephanie would be a victim to the Melinda/Lakisha phenomenon early on, but thought it would be Jordin to go first. With all the Phil hate I thought he was doomed too but he’s still hanging in there. ---

When I made my picks, I felt like I had the bottom 5 correct and the top 7 correct, but within those “strata,” I felt pretty iffy. So far, it looks like my instincts were on with the “strata” but doing really off with the order. Curses! I hope my list still has a chance and that I can start getting the order right once the cannon fodder is gone…I can’t imagine a world in which Haley or Sanjaya makes it three more weeks!
