# the antonym of doom

inspired by the other antonym threads, what is the antonym of doom?
something like…
1. the antonym of ‘inevitable misfortune’ so a synonym of ‘inevitable fortune’
2. the antonym of ‘inevitable end of the world’ or ‘apocolypse’ or ‘doomsday’ so a synonym of ‘inevitable utopia’ or somesuch
3. antonyms of other ways of thinkig about doom
looking for all answers, extra points for single English words, but interested in phrases and foreign examples too

Destiny is a synonymn actually. From the OED: Doom: 4. Fate, lot, irrevocable destiny.

If _doom_ implies a negative ending to be in the works, I would think that _salvation_ implies the opposite. I guess, however, that that would require you to accept _doom_ and _damnation_ to be synonyms.
