I had leftover pizza for breakfast, which is one of my favorite breakfasts. The Neville kitties acted like they wanted some of it, but I didn’t give them any, because I don’t think it would be good for them. ---

I just got back from Barnes and Noble with my sister. We bought hot chocolate–pretty darn tasty. And I bought a book to read tonight and a couple of magazines because I don’t want to watch television tonight. Apparently there isn’t really anything on anyway. Oh, and congrats **Leesha Joy** on the just one more semester till graduation. One looooonnng, tedious, never-ending semester. It’ll fly by, I’m sure! 🙂 ---

I think going to the bathroom is a complete waste of time and I hate doing it, so I delay as long as possible. When I _really_ have to go, and _really_ don’t want to (or am in the car and can’t exactly go right then), I sing the peepee song and do a little peepee dance. Drives my sister insane. This, to be honest, is at least 5% of the reason why I do it. But since I had a hysterectomy 3 years ago, I can’t delay as long as I wish, which means that sometimes, even though I’d rather be doing something else I–have to go. Bye. ---

Oooh **Ginger**! What does your “Super Outie” feel like? Is it painful or annoying? I’ve always wondered that about pregnancy. And congratulations in advance! Today I went with my Grandpa to the podiatrist’s office and watched the good doctor clip his (Grandpa’s) thick, gnarly toenails. Then a nice lady came in and smoothed over the tops of the nails with a Dremmel power tool. After all the dust settled, she massaged his feet with some foot cream that smelled like peppermint ice cream. He so loves being pampered, the cutie. Before we left, I bought a tube of cream for Grandpa (so I can massage his feet), and a tube for myself. Fifteen bucks per tube! Last night my husband and I were watching a program on the History Channel about Gengis Kahn. Within two minutes, it had us looking at each other like WTF??? They were pronouncing Gengis as “Jengis.” Have all my history teachers been wrong? ---

I woke up at 7:30 this morning to watch Celtic play Shakhtar in Champions League football (soccer). But I got the time difference messed up because I am in NEw Zealand and am incapable of figuring out what the difference is to the UK from here with daylight savings and things. The game actually starts at 8:45, so I have spent the last hour or so surfing SDMB and, erm, reading about other things. Later today I will spend my day reading philosophy stuff in order to prepare for my exam on Saturday. I will probably get an A in the class despite having done almost no work during the entire semester. The final exam will count for 100% of my grade if the essay I turned in was at least a C (which I’m sure it is). This is a good thing because the final exam is very similar from year to year, so I know with a high probability what the questions will be about and have already chosen the three essays I want to write on it. In a little while I think I might make some eggs for breakfast. I learned how to poach eggs a week or two ago. It was pretty easy. But I think that I will make scrambled eggs for breakfast instead. I am going to go put my laundry in the dryer and watch the football now. Oh, and the song in my head right now is Folsom Prison Blues - because somebody here said that they are going to Reno (or mentioned Reno in some context or other…). ---

Last year my wife and I bought a car off Ebay. It has never worked right, stalling at inopportune moments among other things. Today we were told that our pretty little Volvo is dead. Donation time. How do you have a broken rear axle, busted transmission, faulty engine speed sensor, and air flow meters and still have a running car? ---
