Ok, you’ve all doubtless seen **SwimmingRiddles** recent thread about the ICQ Messenger. (All right, maybe you didn’t see it. But it’s there, and 50-something people have replied…) How about one for us AIMers? (Or those of you on AOL proper.) So, to steal from **Swiddles** thread, in this one anyone who has the AOL Instant Messenger can list their screen name if they so desire. Be warned! Posting your screen name in this thread might attract flirters of any gender to IM you at any moment! Day or night! Regular or unleaded! I’ll begin. **SirHappy70** Remember, if someone IMs you, you do have the option not to accept the initial IM (and therefore not add them to your list and vice versa). By the same token, if someone new IMs you and you’ve posted your name in this thread, remember that the new person might be from the good ol’ SDMB, and not your run-of-the-mill wack-a-mole. I have a pretty organized life. If my name is something somewhere, it is going to be something very similar somewhere else. my nick on SDMB = Evnglion. on AIM it is **NGEvnglion** This comes from the fantastic Anime called Evangelion. All for now 😉 ---

Hmmmmm… \*\* I hate to burst any bubbles but there is a perfectly innocent, logical, and rather boring reason “SubmittalQueen” is my work nick: My job is putting together submittals of light fixtures, I’m good at my job, hence I’m the SubmittalQueen (but you should see some of the strange IMs I get on ICQ – just installed AIM at work today, I imagine I’ll get the same there too) ---

You wouldn’t believe how many of my friends think I’m a porn site when I first IM them from this name. I use Xploder1269 as I used to use Xploder (changed isp’s and forgot the password) Xploder12 (same thing) and Xploder69(ditto) Xploder has had a **LOT** of different ISP’s. Again, I just LOVE my cable modem! 🆒 ---
