All I’ve been able to glean about this week’s episode is that someone quits in the first five minutes. Either it’s Verna or it isn’t. Elsewhere in Apprenticeland, they have confirmed that Burnett and the Donald are going to do an edition of this with Martha Stewart. (The application is [here](http://www.nbc.com/nbc/The_Apprentice_3/apply_now.shtml).) _Entertainment Weekly_ broke the story that Miss Martha will **not** be using The Donald’s catchphrase – what will hers be, d’ya think, “you’re not a good thing”? This week’s _InTouch_ magazine asked the question we’ve all been wondering about – how many of the Apprentices made it to the wedding? None, apparently – which Omarosa understood. Our girl Heidi, though, was a little peeved: “I like Donald [sic], but inviting everyone – and I mean, everyone – to his wedding but _The Apprentice_ cast is rude.” :dubious: Don’t worry, though – Carolyn went (pic with her hubby), as did George (snapped with both hands in the air, waving to his cheering fans). ---

Hm, I wonder if “devise a PR campaign” means coming up with a marketing plan, a la the Pepsi and Levi’s tasks last season, or going out and shilling on the street, as with toothpaste, ice cream, and candy bars? ---

According to the same issue of _InTouch_ (look at it this way, gang – I read it so you don’t have to), Bill was at a charity ski event elsewhere. Don’t have the issue here, I’ll check it when I get home if you need more info. My guess is he wasn’t invited, because you know if he had been, he’d’ve been there. The ring bearer was Mark Burnett’s 8-year-old son. According to the February _Vogue_, everyone was in favor of televising the ceremony – except Melania, who put her foot down. I’m guessing she also vetoed inviting the Apprentice crew (other than George, who might have been invited otherwise, and Carolyn, who probably wouldn’t have been). ---

I actually think the one who quites is the woman (I still cannot get the names striaght) on the “stree smarts” team who thought all the bickering was counterproductive and she seemed pretty fed up already at that point. ---

I’m inclined to say Verna goes. She has yet to show anything resembling sanity. I find it hard to believe she could so quickly hit the switch back to “Well balanced individual”. I’d like to see a couple of the 6 or 7 ghost people get more air time today. This season seems better than #2, but the personalities we have seen so far don’t seem like enough to keep us enthralled for a long time. On a tangential note, Survivor is starting soon. I have the Raj Ratings for the Apprentice. **zut** has done a great job of transmogrifying those into the weekly Taxi Assessment for the Amazing Race. Frankly, I think we need a Survivor version as well because that’s a batch of folks that clearly need to be picked on. I can volunteer for it, but there are a couple of caveats that make me think it would best be handled by someone else. 1. Both shows on the same night and a new baby pretty much guarantees that I won’t be watching Survivor until I can come back to the VCR on Friday or Saturday. 2. Survivor was so awful last time I quit watching. If it starts off remotely poorly again, all you’ll see is a Mullinator shaped outline in the thread as I run away quickly. Any volunteers? ---

Sheesh, don’t look at me – not only am I not nearly witty enough to do the concept justice, I have a hell of a time telling a lot of the people apart. (“You know, the whiny chick with the big breasts” – like that narrows things down.) I don’t have a clue who half of them are until, well, until the other half of them are gone. ---

Does anyone else think that Danny looks like a skinny Michael Moore? I think that Magna is not so much upset that Verna is quitting but that she’s quitting before the task so they can’t throw her under the bus if they lose. ---

So, Mike won last week, because Verna and Danny **overruled** him on the customer service needs. Now Verna’s gone, and Danny’s sinking, and Mike has exemption. Grrr. ---
