Did Erin say something that was sound edited out as she walked out the door? I thought it looked like she turned around and said something before she walked out the door. Also, when Trump asked if they thought they had fired the right person, didn’t Carolyn say something like “especially after that comment”. ---

I don’t get all the Erin love. This was the first time I’d heard of her being a beauty pageant. That kinda makes things fall into place for me. First, how stupid do you have to be to announce your incompetency in front of your teammates AND Carolyn? Not once but repeatedly. Did she expect everyone to let her off the hook? Secondly, she totally thought she was in Trump’s pocket. He LIKES me! He likes ME! Ugh, I bet she was a teacher’s pet when she was a kid and rubbed it in all the other kids’ faces. She’s not aware that her shit stinks like everyone else. Third, her cutesy act was so tired. She’s used to using her little girl looks to serve her smarts, which isn’t a crime, but is still not impressive. Not all the smiles and winks in the world couldn’t save her. Can’t wait to see Chris finally go over the edge. Loved Craig and his “not creative enough” idea. ---

If so, I didn’t hear it – I think Carolyn was just referring to “Do you have to.” Which, IMHO, really was completely inappropriate. That was not the right time to let out your inner smartass. And so, yeah, I was wrong – Trump _would_ refer to a woman as a wise guy. Was anyone else surprised when he said he didn’t have a problem with swearing, per se? ---

Up to that point she’d been so good in the BoardRoom, maybe too good. She thought she was bullet-proof, and said something stupid when Trump desperately wanted to fire any one but her. ---

I actually didn’t think what Erin said was so bad. I thought exactly the same thing when Trump said that. He was definitely leading her on with that kind of language. Everyone knows that he makes the final decision in the boardroom, and Erin was just calling his bluff. I don’t think she meant it as a wisecrack, but her mistake was not realizing that he was trying to provoke her, just like he was trying to get Chris to erupt over the chewing tobacco. ---

If I’m the first to say this, it must have already jumped the shark. Oh well, when have I ever let that stop me? _ahem_ I DO NOT HAVE A SPITOON MR TRUMP! Now that we know that he swallows (and Carolyn’s face of disgust can speak for me on that topic), you think we need a replay of IANAHMT? Kendra gets credit for owning up to the fact that Craig won them the task. Was that our white-bread Alex speaking Spanish to the customer?! And Tana and the handprint kids totally won me over. And I agree 100% with those upthread who said that Erin only needs to live somewhere to have ideas of what someone might want to learn how to do. Really now. Stop relying on your winking and cleavage, and think for a moment. I want to go build a box on April 2nd! ---

I was all, “How can you be a ‘former beauty queen’ and not know how to walk properly?” And what about that line? “As a former beauty queen, I know about crowns… not crown moulding.” Umm, what? No, really. WTF? So dumb. And when she was leaving the board room, her ass looked gigantic. I loved Carolyn’s comment about Erin’s tactics (“But he CHEWS TOBACCO!!111111”) being “convenient”. She was spot on. Erin played it cool in previous board room meetings because she thought/knew she was safe. As soon as she realized she was in trouble, she used things against Chris which, while gross and inappropriate, had absolutely nothing to do with the failure of the task and which she knew were sort of “hot button” topics for Trump. Convenient, indeed. And Trump totally fell for it, too. WTH?
