Alas, I haven’t watched much TV this week, so I haven’t seen the ads – the website mentions a “high-rise challenge,” so I guess we’re doing real estate again. Does anyone have any information on this? Any speculation as to whether the 3 vs. 2 thing will be a factor? How Bill will get along with Kwame and Troy? How Amy and Nick will get along? C’mon, it’s time to start the pregame show… ---

Bill is the odd man out. I think Amy and Nick will fight over something petty and, although editing will make a big deal out of it, they’ll rise to the challenge. I guess it’s Bill’s turn to lead, isn’t it? If so, Troy goes tonight. ---

On the one hand, I think that Troy’s out tonight, based on the, “You should have kept your mouth shut,” comment. Although he’s been pretty good in the previous boardrooms - I don’t think he’s ever said _anything_ that wasn’t in answer to a direct question from Trump - there have been plenty of times outside the boardroom that he’s beaten a point to death. Perhaps the cowboy tries to ride to Kwame’s defense? On the other hand, the comment might be directed to Amy. She said a lot of things last week about Nick and their relationship, and I’m sure Nick would be surprised to hear some of it. That might come back to bite her. On the gripping hand, NBC tends to pick the most interesting statement from the boardroom and really sensationalize it, so it may not mean anything at all. ---

Trump was on MSNBC again this morning, and stated that tonight one of the “icons of the show” has a really bad day (!) I’m thinking he means Troy, since he’s the one who’s generated the most positive buzz. That was easily the most sensationalized boardroom quote of the show… which is what I was going to say seconds ago, but now that Kwame is going to the boardroom, I’m not so sure. He may have destroyed himself by lowering his opinion of Troy. ---

**qwest** , you’re not the only one… I can’t believe it! Troy got fired. No way! Never thought it was going to happen, thought for sure it would be Amy v. Troy in the last big showdown. I think Troy really thought he could beat Kwame in the boardroom, considering the successes he’s had and how low-profile Kwame has been, win or lose. Instead, Trump focuses on what a loose cannon he is and his lack of education. Amazing. Kwame makes it into the Final 4. I am shocked, SHOCKED I tell you. Next week? God, now I have no idea. What is this about Omarosa (not two words, no matter what the promo said, unless the second word is “bitch”) coming back? Two people getting fired in the first half hour? How? WTF? Anyone want to place bets on how this is going to go down? ---

Hoo hoo haa haa hee hee! I’m dying here! “Redheaded guys always seem to go out with redheaded girls. What’s up with that?” Amy is the WORST flirter I’ve ever seen! And Nick’s just sitting there going “durrrr…” She’s acting like a 13 year old. And that gummy smile of hers? Yack! Her regular smile is pretty normal, but when she thinks she’s being all cute and adorable, she pulls her upper lip up for **FULL GUM EXPOSURE** , turns her head to the side, and flaps her eyelashes. Yeah, real fetching. You look like you’re smuggling a pack of Bubble Yum. ---

Great freakin’ episode. First of all – wtf on Nick and Amy winning. I was totally surprised at that. With 15 minutes left, some guy with more money than sense comes wandering back in and gives them $10K more than they asked? wtf? Then – the producers had to have lined up the family members for the trip in advance – which means that they had to line up family members for the other three people as well. And told them what, exactly? Oops, sorry, we’re not going to wine and dine you and put you on TV? Then, of course, the who’s-going-to-the-boardroom byplay. I thought it was fascinating that the education stuff only comes up now as an actual topic of discussion. (Obviously Trump and his minions had seen resumes and dossiers on everyone.) I’m not sure I agree with **Rubystreak** that Trump was focussing on the lack of education per se – as in, that that was a major factor in the dismissal – I was reading it more as being about his lack of discipline, etc. I do think, however, that Trump admired Kwame for his honesty when he (Kwame) said that he wouldn’t consider for CFO, and would only consider him as CEO if sales and motivation were central to the mission. And I agree with that assessment. Would Troy have had a better chance against Bill? Not necessarily. As several people in the boardroom pointed out, although Kwame has been team captain several times, we have yet to see him do a good job as a leader. Bill, OTOH, has been an extremely solid player all the way along, despite the fact that he hasn’t built alliances with any of the remaining people. And bringing Omarosa back? Fucking genius. I can’t wait! Damn, I love this show! ---

I was surprised that Troy was fired…well, actually, I should rephrase that – I was surprised that Kwame’s still there. Kwame must be doing things that end up on the boardroom floor, because I can’t think of anything he’s done in any of the tasks. The real question: Did anyone see that painting of Trump at Maralago _(sp?)_ ? That had me rolling on the floor. 😃 ---

Trump utterly sabotaged any Nick/Amy romance in the bud by sending her sister and his father along on that flight. Wonder if that was intentional? What’s funny about watching the show is that while the show was being taped these contestants were still under the impression that the winner of the contest was the…uh, ‘winner’ of the series. When you really think about it, who the hell REALLY wants to have to work for Donald Trump for the next year at a set salary? Many of the losers (especially the final 4 or so) will be able to parlay their second- and third-place showings into big bucks, ala books, talk shows and job opportunities with other companies. I mean, doesn’t Omarosa have pending fashion and talk-show host deals in the works? My prediction: kinda like “American Idol,” Omarosa will be more famous and for much longer than whoever the eventual ‘winner’ of “The Apprentice” is. Didn’t Clay Aiken ‘lose’ on “American Idol?” Hell, look at William Hung (or whatever that guy’s name is!) ---

Were those people for real?! Seems like such a setup to have them make the offer at the last minute. I wondered the same thing at the apartment episode. And can I say that I find Nick to be the most self-delusional person there? He always thinks he’s “reading” the customers so well (in the water episode and in this one), but I think he’s totally misreading them and lacking in the ability to establish rapport.
