Sure, she’s better than the other women, but that’s like saying I’m taller than the midget guy from _Fantasy Island_, you know? ---

Um, that should read “pay $50 to have someone as pretty as her pedal them two blocks,” although the goof-up is much funnier and would be a lot more in line with the whole “sex sells” motif. ---

I reviewed the Scavenger Hunt task episode (thank you, TiVo!) and you’re right, CCL, it was Amy who was encouraging the squid dancing. Now I’m thrilled that she’s gone. It looks like it’s Bill’s game to lose, but either way, I’m going to be happy about the outcome. (Especially if Omarosa gets a good dressing down in the finale, oh please, please, please, let it be.) ---

She was all smiles and buddy-buddy with him and kept putting her hand on his shoulder and acting like they were close. Then came Thursday night’s show and she was blatantly exposed for the liar (and much of what else she is) for all the world to see. I remember reading in Trump’s first book, that if anyone crosses him he makes them pay, and several times over. And not just to get even with them, but also as an example to others. I’ve been wondering what was going on in his mind regarding hints of lawsuits by her over either racism or injury and what he was going to do about it. We just found out! She has been disgraced in front of the whole country, and would have zip credibility in front of a jury. I remember Ivana worrying about what he was going to do regarding their divorce and settlement. Although they wound up as friends, at the time she said he’ll always find a way to outsmart you and come out on top. Omarosa just found that out big-time! ---

Omasrosa is a major passive-agressive. The personality disorder is most apparent in the fact that they are usually in the middle of a malestrom, patting themselves on the back for being calm and collected, never aware that they are the cause of all the confusion, frustration, and malice directed at them. She has mastered that “look” on her face when accused of causing all the hate and discontent. It is totally pathetic, more so because she is stupid enough that she can’t even see what’s really going on. She is a medicore mind masquarading as an intellect. Since I’ve worked for the government it’s a sure bet she was an affirmative-action hire. I wonder if we’ll ever see how she reacted when confronted with the evidence of her lie about the phone call? I would love to see that. ---

This week’s _Time_ has a short [article](http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1101040412-607833,00.html) on Trump’s casinoes. They’re actually hemorrhaging money and may have to shut down due to losses. I was also surprised to learn that Trump only owns about half the buildings in NYC that bear his name; the rest essentially pay for the use of his name and perhaps for management services. This is in no way to imply that Donald’s not filthy rich still, but he’s definitely not untouchable. ---

To ask what some doper asked before: Who here thinks these contestants are geniuses? Even though the show is interesting, the talent is pretty ordinary. How can anyone be as clueless as Kwame (re: last episode) or as mediocre as Omarosa and be selected out of 215,000 applicants? It only proves that this is nothing more than a TV show. They found an interesting mix of characters and put them together much like “The Real World”. Just as in politics, the real talent didn’t enlist. ---

I watched the first three episodes of The Apprentice, then after missing the next three, I gave up because I felt too lost. Would someone please post a link to a site with detailed summaries of each episode? I know Omarosa has emerged as a huge villian, but I have no idea how this happened or what she did in the last episode. I’d really like to brush up on the show so that I can watch the live finale and make sense of it. Thanks! ---

I do think they’re book-smart; most have good college credentials and I’d guess they are at least in the upper 15 or 20% of the population in general intelligence. What they tend to lack in my opinion is maturity and experience. They are in over their heads in an amazingly difficult environment in which they have to try to impress highly seasoned and experienced executives, not to mention Trump himself, while at the same time living and competing with each other and trying to survive while striving to perform well in oddball tasks that no one who is much of an acheiver would have ever expected to be confronted with. ---

Arguably, all of the women on the show are attractive in some manner, and certainly all of them have above-average bodies. As for the men, most of them are also above-average in looks and build, and the ones who weren’t (Bowie and Sam) didn’t last very long. Obviously this is just my opinion, but it seems odd to me that all the contestants just _happen_ to be good-looking. After all, it is TV. ---

I agree with litost. The Apprentice has turned out to be a marvelous TV show-but it’s still just a TV show. I have a hard time believing that BFFs Katrina and Ereka represent a good sampling of Today’s Cutting-edge Entrepreneurs. I haven’t seen a single task that’s representative of anything except sheer entertainment. Omarosa? In what realm of fantasy would anyone cast her for anything other than provoking other people and creating Reality Drama? I bet the casting director wanted to slap her upside the head and then realised “hey, if _I_ want to slap her I bet other people will too!” Of course, I could be a bit biased. All the hyper-successful entrepreneurs I know are cute-but-not-tv-hot Indian MIT grads sitting around in their basements jacking off and writing software programs that they start a corporation around and then quickly sell. And they usually take that money and dump it back into real estate and investment options-thus building their own dorkpires.
