Is it just me, or is Tana coming off like a complete bitch? Who cares who had the idea for the shape of that brochure? Kendra put it together while her team members were sleeping. ---

The only criticism that George and Carolyn have for Kendra is that she did not jump in as a project manager until late in the game. Oh come on, if that’s the best they can come up with, Kendra’s a slam dunk. Staying under the radar for as long as you can is definitely one of the winning strategies in this show. Craig tried to do it too, but his lack of communication skills sunk him. Kelly did that in Apprentice 2 and won. Losing project managers are usually the first to go in the early rounds. Ho hum, Tana’s coming across as desperate now. ---

Between looking at Bill and looking at Tana I’ve developed a fear of cosmetic dentistry. As for the show I’m glad I brought a book. I feel dirty and used. Like Donald Trump just rubbed up against my leg for an hour. ---

I’m pretty sure Trump had Erin and Kristen confused because he asked Kristen what it was like working with Kendra and it led Kristen to sit there with a big WTF look on her newly face-lifted face. Also, she’s blonde now. These are the things that happen when someone like Kristin sees herself on TV looking over 29. And Carolyn’s hair was like when Lady Di had her big hair phase. And someone gave Carolyn the “smokey eye” look which was beautiful. I know you probably weren’t looking for makeup details. Everyone was poorly lit though and it gave you something to think about which the show itself did not. ---

There was one aspect of it that I actually found interesting–the two jobs that were offered, and how the two candidates responded. At first glance, I thought the Miss Universe job would be better. It would be really interesting to travel and be involved in an event that is watched all over the world. The mansion renovation seemed kind of lame by comparison (even though the renovation appealed to me more personally.) But, as Kendra aptly pointed out, the mansion renovation would definitely be a better entree into the Trump organization. If you were involved with the Miss Universe thing, you’d be sort of ghettoized. What Kendra _didn’t_ say, but I’m sure she realized, is that the mansion seems to be a project that Trump is really interested in at the moment. The Miss Universe thing might be more well-known to the public, but being at the mansion would likely get you more attention and more face time with Trump. The responses of the two women were like little microcosms of their whole performance all season. Tana enthusiastically and decisively said she wanted to do Miss Universe. But she didn’t say why. She also used an awful lot of words to convey her choice. Kendra, on the other hand, chose the mansion, and clearly and concisely laid out her reasons for choosing it. Throughout the first two seasons, we all groused that the candidates seemed unable to express themselves clearly and concisely. In Kendra, we got our wish. ---

I’ll see what I can recall… - Trump in narration mentioned he gave Kendra and Tana the three worst people from each team for assistance on their final task. Of course, we all knew that, but it was humorous to hear him say it. - Omorosa was in the audience. Fortunately, she did not speak. :eek: I didn’t spot anyone else aside from Robyn the Secretary. - The Army gives you all the skills you need to work for Trump. (no disrepect to the Army or its people, but the pimping on the show was pretty funny) - The only voices I recall hearing from the penalty box where the Castoffs sat were Chris’s, Kristen’s and Erin’s. I didn’t even see Craig, which was nice. - As alluded to above, at one point Trump asked Kendra why she didn’t take sole credit for the much touted Pontiac brochure task. Kendra politely responded something to the effect that it was still a team effort, and a good leader doesn’t bring down the team no matter what. Tana finally saw a sliver of an opportunity to win some points and mentioned that she was the one who came up with the shape of the brochure. As someone mentioned above, I think the circle has been discovered before, but we’ll leave that to the philosophers. Tana got her credit, and responded like a frat boy who just won a chugging contest. Seriously, screaming “YEAH YEAH!” and pumping fists and what not. To say it was embarrassing is to embarrassingly understate the situation. Tana got booed several times during the tirade. I can’t imagine being a kid and watching your mother perform like this on a TV show. If her kids don’t get wedgies on a daily basis already, they’re in for some rough days now. Kendra, given the opportunity to respond (she didn’t screech her way in - such a pleasant change from the shrewery last season), stated that yes Tana had come up with the circle shape, but there was obviously a lot more to it than that, and that she had done the bulk of it herself. - Trump manufactured several “problems” with Kendra just to keep the show longer than five minutes. At one point he said “I don’t like crying, and you cried!” When she defended herself deftly, he admitted that it was an ok time to cry and it was what he referred to as a “good cry.” Then, later in the show he commented to her that HE DIDN’T LIKE CRYING AGAIN. Apparently he had forgotten that they had worked that out a scant few minutes ago. It was never more apparent that he was reading from a script than at that moment. Overall, a pretty big meh of a finally to cap off a pretty big meh of a season. Bring on the new wannabes, nothing’s throwing me now! ---

He doesn’t have to watch the whole thing. He could even pay someone to put what he said on index cards and then he could glance at them while he’s in the TrumpTub. Then again, if he can’t even remember what he said 2 seconds before. But I agree it was so obvious that nobody had anything to say. Chris accidentally implied that he was having a passionate affair with Kendra but then it turns out it’s just some Vegas property scam. Or something. ---

Just saw Tana doing an red carpet live interview from Planet Hollywood with our local news. She essentially said the whole show was bullshit, her word on live TV, and she was ready to go home. If Trump wasn’t smart enough to hire her, she didn’t want the job anyway.
