And yet, for every Tiananmen Square there’s a Bornholmer Bridge, where soldiers said “fuck this.” Trump will get his massacre. It’s going to be on victims he’s calculating won’t matter: a homeless camp, a city park in the ghetto, some cinderblock shacks where pea-picker families live. But if he thinks it will strengthen his regime he’s wrong. ---
