If he tries to deploy the military into US cities to prevent people from voting, governors will fight back and the result will be civil war, mass defections and defections, mass casualties civilian and military, and economic collapse. It is a fundamental building block of our Constitution that the states are co-sovereign and have the right to elect the president and their representatives to Congress. If the federal government decides to abrogate that agreement, I would personally call on the governor of my state to deem the Union to have been dissolved and the sovereignty of the federal government invalid, and I wouldn’t be the only one. ---
