The Army Sells The Big Red One to Sears

Que?

“Cassius…Mohamad…whatever…, how many fucking times have I told you no practising in the fucking loft!!!”

Classic. Could there BE anything more American? This is perfect. Does Blackwater have a sportswear line yet? How long for lingerie?

Tropic Lightning is pretty badass, too. And to be stationed in Hawaii…beautiful.

Crotchless camouflage panties.

They’ll never see you coming.

Can’t you buy this stuff now at military surplus stores?

Sure. Easy. Still every bit the heroic act.

Next.

Of course they do.

(BW logo in the bottom corner of the shirt.)
Also they make Polos, gloves, hats… you name it. And no employment with Blackwater necessary.

Every time I see a Blackwater car decal or polo shirt I think That guy’s in the Cougar Club.

Jeez, all this outrage seems rather late in the game. For as long as I can remmeber I have seen Clothing (T-shirts, mostly) that sport the Army, Navy, Airforce, and Marine official logos and emblazons. I’ve seen plenty of Airborne and Special Forces T-shirts at the Military surplus stores… you know, Special Forces_ “Kill them all and let God sort them out” t-shirts, and Airborne “Death from Above” t-shirts, and Navy Seal T-shirts. Regimental clothing has been around forever, they whored it out years ago! Hell, even MASH t-shirts are ubiquotous.

I’d feel the same way, and I think that’s saying a lot considering that I’m not only Jewish but actually have family that was killed in the Holocaust.

The soldiers who fought in the army of Nazi Germany were by and large just like the soldiers who fought in the U.S. Army. They were young men who were drafted by their country, who were caught up in a war that was much, much bigger than them, and they fought just as bravely as the Allies did. Do you really think that every single man in the Wehrmacht was a rabid supporter of the Nazi ideology any more than the average Russian at Stalingrad was a rabid fan of Communism?

Once on the battlefield, they weren’t fighting for their nation’s ideology, they were fighting for their fellow soldiers in their unit, and themselves.
