I know you weren’t talking about me, but in general I think I was regarded as a good board citizen who posted appropriately; then for most of calendar year 2017, I echoed my weekly blog posts. I think it was a combination of too many posts + too many posts harping on the same damn topic. People in general did not have it in for me before that (minus, perhaps, a couple folks who found me annoying) so it was my posting behavior, specifically, that generated the antipathy. So, yeah, in broad general terms I think the OP here has a point. My annoying patterns aren’t quite the same as the annoying patterns of the person I think you’re alluding to, but that person would be well-advised to consider what’s being said here, and not to take it personally. There’s a difference between “we don’t like you” and “we don’t like your posting behavior”. ---

It’s not that hard to stop yourself, in real life or here before hitting submit, and ask, “Am I contributing anything of interest; is it relevant; am I off-topic; is it at least amusing; am I stating the blindingly obvious; does anyone give a shit; do I even have a fucking point?” **Beckdawreck** suffers from at least not being able to stop hereself, assuming she has the presence of mind to ask herself those questions. ---

I mean, when the neighbors have seen you do it in their bushes, when there’s a separate section in the Employee Handbook devoted to you, and when you’ve had mall security called on you for doing it in the fountain, you’ve got to start thinking “Maybe it isn’t everyone else who’s crazy here…” (But seriously, the vague pronoun thing does make this more passive-aggressive) ---

My thing with **Beckdawrek** is that, didn’t we used to have rules against post padding? She posts. on. every. thread. And it’s always the first or second comment, and it’s _almost_ always a one or two word response. It’s like she just sits there refreshing the home page so she can be the first to comment on everything without contributing anything. The whole “scroll past it” thing doesn’t really work when it’s on every thread. At some point you keep seeing her name and associating it with overuse, and it’s very hard to ignore it. I’m sure she’s sweet, I’m not talking about her personal character, but damn girl, take some time to just read, you know? ---
