This is about the lamest pit thread I can remember. I don’t know about it being passive-aggressive, but creating a thread like this does seem cowardly. And painting it as Just Wondering is completely fake and even more cowardly. Beck is just one of life’s little annoyances, like the chatty neighbor who you turn the other way to avoid. No big deal to most folks here. So sorry if one or two find her so aggravating that you feel the need to do something about it, even though the “offense” is so small. ---

I moved from the UK to Sweden to Russia and tried hard in both countries to learn the language Unlike my husband who is blessed with an ear for language and picked Swedish & Russian within 10 month, I struggled and cried until it sent us so mad we returned to the Sweden where English was spoken within a year of moving to Russia We are now back in the UK. I have my Grandad to look after as neither his daughter (my mother) or his son with take on the challenge, he 82, alone…I’m the only one prepared to do it ---
