A game came out recently called “The Ascent”. For $25 it’s well worth the cost IMO. It’s an [isometirc](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isometric_video_game_graphics), twin-stick shooter (can totally play it on a PC too…no problem). Loads of fun. Looks great. Bought it yesterday on Steam. Hoping to be able to start it tonight. It looks great. Should definitely scratch my ARPG itch while waiting for Diablo 2. ---

So I did grab this as it was free for Xbox Game Pass. I am really enjoying it. The gameplay is okay; nothing innovative but solid enough. I am really loving the atmosphere; between the graphics and visuals it feels like _Blade Runner_ with aliens. The story is interesting and I like the humor in the dialog. It’s definitely worth my time. Actually, it’s hard to put down.
