That’s the role of an unabridged dictionary; to include all of the words that English speakers use. So I feel an unofficial standard can be words that English speakers recognize and use but still identify as words from another language. The simple test would be if there’s an English translation of the word. So if you asked an English speaker what adios means, for example, they would tell you it’s Spanish for good bye. ---
