Heileman Brewing Company, which grew through acquisitions of other regional breweries until at one time it was one of the five biggest brewers in America – but they ran into financial problems back in the 1990s following its takeover/buyout by Alan Bond of Australia. It closed and lay idle for a couple of years until a group of local investor took it over and reopened it under the name ‘City Brewery’ – and yes, they made a ‘City Lite’ beer. City Lite **↔** Shitty Lyte _(although the brewery tells an entirely different story about the origin of the name)_. _ **-“BB”-** _ ---
