I have an AVI file that I cannot delete. It is supposedly being used by another program, but that program is not specified.

- None of the programs I might use for playing AVI types lists it under Recent Files
- I know that re-installing these players will do the trick, but is there a better way?

Go into your registry and search for the following key, and delete it:

HKEY\_LOCAL\_MACHINESOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID{87D62D94-71B3-4b9a-9489-5FE6850DC73E}\InProcServer32

Thanks, Algorithm. That worked.
