To name any Beatles song as my favourite is almost impossible, but if I had to, I’d go for one that I’ve never seen anyone mention - except to dismiss it: George Harrison’s _It’s All Too Much_ from Yellow Submarine. The ultimate psychedelic song - particularly the extended eight minute version. So joyous, so involving, so wonderful. ---

Undoubtedly, _In My Life_, which happened to be Lennon’s favourite… Lennon song. And I’ll go along with _Here, There and Everywhere_, which I believe is one of McCartney’s best songs. And _Across the Universe_, for its brilliant combination of lyrics and music. ---

I do, in fact, know the meaning “underrated”. Which the song is, by practically everyone I’ve ever talked to about the Beatles in general, and that song in particular. I’m not sure what one consideres “underrated” but here are mine that don’t seem to be included in the Great Beatles Songs conversations: 1. “For You Blue” from Let it Be – big fan of George Harrison’s voice and he looks just so cool singing it on the Let it Be documentary. (“Something” wouldn’t be considered underrated, would it? Really love that one.) 2. Got to Get You Into My Life – great horns, great rhythm, great energy! I voted for “I’ve Got a Feeling.” ---

I’m partial to _If I Fell_ and _Here, There, And Everywhere_. But I have to agree with a lot of what the earlier poster said, who wrote so passionately about _Oh! Darling_. That is one hell of an underrated song! I think I still prefer John, overall, as a vocalist, but Paul’s vocal here is magnificent (and I don’t think John could have done as well on it). Great thread, by the way. _Dear Prudence_? Have to say I don’t get the love for that one. Too static and droney for me. ---

as a sitarist, I’m partial to George’s raga-influenced numbers: Within You/Without You The Inner Light Love You Too and of course “Tomorrow Never Knows” is one of the best psychedelic songs there is. Shout out to “What’s The New Mary Jane” as well… spacier then anything else they ever did! ---

“I’ve Got a Feeling” really resonates with me. To me it’s a multi-faceted song that represents the ultimate evolution of the Beatles. It has the harmonies of the old Beatles songs, a great guitar sound, a bit of an edge with the “wet dream” lyric, and an overall somewhat melonchaly sound. ---
