Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 64 Amurrkin out and rainyish with a predicted high of 72 and rain/tstorms/apocalypse predicted for the day. I shall betake myself to Sam’s this mornin’ to purchase tp for da cave (down to _ **only** _ twenty-four rolls! :eek:) and some supplies for the church house. I shall also go over to the church house to take the supplies and perform candle duty which I intend to hand over to others in a couple of weeks. Sup shall be majik intartoobz pizza and sallit. I hope to get all the runnin’ around done before the rain sets in for real. TWPTB say we shall have a period of no rain this mornin’ before it all starts up again this afternoon. We shall see. **Spidey** new page started in true juvenile fashion. I take my hat off to you! **MOOOOOOM** glad FCD is feelin’ better. **Nuts** good luck with all the skool stuff. Wow - I slept till almost 6:30! YAY!! Unfortunately, it rained overnight, so I doubt that anything will happen in the yard today, and with what’s forecast, it may be Tuesday before they can work again. Dammit. On the other hand, \*\*FCD \*\*is feeling much better. He slept well and he’s having eggs and toast for breakfast. I’m guessing it was a 24-hr puke bug… or something he ate. RoxStar is in fine voice this morning - I expect she’ll wear me out today. So, Happy Firday, all!! ---

The kids are going to sleep over at Grandma’s house tonight and tomorrow night. Grammy misses them, and **Romeo** is working this weekend. I’ll actually be able to get something done around the house! Plus, I get that delicious freedom of having the house all to myself for a few hours on Saturday. Sure, I’ll be cleaning and such, but I can listen to whatever I want while I do it. And if I walk away for a half hour, I won’t come back to see all my work has been undone by adorable little mess monsters! One week from today, I’m taking a long weekend to go to Illinois and visit my sister and drop **Juliet Jr.** off for spring break. On my way back, I’m stopping in Madison for a night. I’m getting a hotel room for the night, just me, to have a little me time. So excited. ---

Irking from home today; snow on the ground. Third load of lawn dairy (since last night) is in the dryer now. First two loads don’t get the dryer. It looks liked the closet barfed onto every doorway upstairs with everything that’s hanging to dry. Not sure where the shirts currently in the dryer will go until they get folded & put away. Have to be up early for an 8+ hr safety seminar tomorrow. I foresee mainlining caffeine to get thru it. ---

My wife’s friend of a friend, “Mary” is living in Australia. Apparently, Mary recently met a new guy. Really good looking, rich, a doctor. The whole nine yards. For Chinese New Year, this doctor was going to buy Mary a business class ticket from Australia back to Taiwan so she could go visit her family. Then something happened and somehow he couldn’t get the ticket right then or whatever. She bought her own economy ticket came up to Taiwan and googled him a little bit more extensively. It seems that he had just gotten out of prison in New Zealand for swindling foreign women by pretending to be rich and a doctor. It looks like Mary dodged a bullet. ---

Stayed in bed until nearly 0830 today (the joys of retirement). Have to go grocery shopping for The Things I Forgot To Put On My List; cheese, ham, butter, and pickles. Our first couple years kicked ass to the point that people who needed money passed up better jobs and paydays to stay there. It was that enjoyable. With poor bosses like we have now folks are almost glad when they get fired; almost no-one has appealed a termination in the last year - less than 5%. But we still have fun. Mocking TPTB and their stupidity is high on the list and having a laugh with each other now and then has become standard work for us. And for some reason I seem to be good at that version of work as well. When I get canned I will seriously miss the people, the actual job, and a lot of stuff and try to forget the bullshit that came with it. Like any survivor who remembers the few kindnesses while forgetting the daily humiliation. And speaking of which – time to get ready for the evening. Don’t worry Maryland — I still got you covered. At least on Thursdays and Fridays. 😃 ---

Howdy Y’all! Been a day of chore stuff but all got accomplished. Go Me! Majik Intartoobz Pizza and sallit have been ingested. I need to read some stuff for tomorrow’s Vestry retreat. I also need to read up on church leadership stuff and finish a couple of assignments for that. We meet in three weeks so I best get to learnin’ up. Tomorrow is scheduled for ten a.m. to three p.m. I do get N.O.L. out of it however. I ordered a turkey bacon sammich, chips, a cookie and a Diet Coke from the list of stuff from Heavenly Ham. Yeah, I know, Heavenly Ham and I ordered turkey. It comes with bacon though and bacon is pork so it’s sorta kinda ham. ---

**Juliet** , are you going for a room witha hot tub? I would. 😛 Irked, bought groceries, came home, then went to see a friend play music at the Green Dragon Pub. I had a Black Abbey and a ploughman’s lunch. Twas good. Before I left, I realized that I had neglected to pick up about a third of the produce on my grocery list, so I went back to Sprouts to buy green beans, a bell pepper, spinach, garlic and an onion. I’ll fix paella this weekend and bought the maters, shrimp and clams the first round. G’night! ---

Almost finished cleaning up to go to the big bishop do at the cathedral. Never been present at the ordination of a bishop. Doors open in less than an hour, service starts at 11:00. TCM has _Marooned_ on just now, been a long time since I saw that. You can really see how tech has changed in movies and in life, with Gregory Peck racing down the highway to find a phone and getting pulled over for speeding.
