8 games into the seaons the Bengals are 2 and 6, and only 6 games behind the division leader. I can hear the December cheers now, “We’re 9 games out with 2 games to play – a couple of teams drop out of the league and we’re in the playoffs!!” (But then, after the whooping my Vikings took yesterday I think that I’ve said enough…) ---
