# The Bering Strait tunnel.

Right, it’s pretty much exactly like the Channel Tunnel…connecting the heartlands of two advanced industrial densely populated regions together. Next, can we start working on a bridge to connect Greenland and Iceland?

Screw that. Greenland needs a giant causeway to Newfoundland first. Then we new-worlders can wrest control of the lumpfish supply from the wily Danes!

Inquiring minds have already addressed that proposal; consensus was that it’s even more difficult (and economically impossible) than a Bering tunnel.
