In my dreams, I’m living under a dome. I have no experience in geo-mathemathics, but a sphhere, not any icosahedron or somebodu’s fyllerine or anyrhong. I have a limimited resourshe - only one piece and a half sphere, please - not acute, I have no money, yet. If you don’t understant - one piece to multiply and you have a sphere and Im not very unpolite. Choronos saves or shaves - wat is it. But one piece, no others and - bang I have (not a fullerang), but half a dome. One piece!

Are you asking how to tessellate the sphere into congruent spherical polygons? There are [a number of ways](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spherical_polyhedron#Examples)to accomplish that.

I think the OP is asking what near-planar shape can you take and just join a load of them (all identical) together to construct a spherical dome, or reasonable approximation of one.

I’m going to go for curved segments - like the top half of the pieces in this image:

**Moderating**

**komolono** , your question is not at all clear. I’m going to close this. If you can rephrase and make your question clear, you may open an new thread.
