OP mentions nothing about the ban of nonsensical conspiracy theory movies (with spectacular editing), especially when being replaced by even more nonsensically cast movies with Michael J. Fox as a Viet Nam soldier . But I’m good with a double entry. 🙂 ---

I think we should add \*\*Oh, Brother, Where art Thou? \*\* It was the original entry for 1937, since removed for the superior **Chinatown**. But the list has evolved some, now recognizes multiple good movies in certain years and I think Oh, Brother warrants an addition/re-inclusion. Hopefully this doesn’t lead to a mess where every year suddenly has three or four entries. Again, “Just use your own best judgement.” – Joel’s mom. ---

Major upgrade: **1969 Awakenings** (over Taking Woodstock) Slight hijack: If you look at the [Wiki page for Oliver Sacks,](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oliver_Sacks) the doctor Robin Williams played in the movie, the resemblance is so striking it almost looks like it’s Williams with “old person makeup” on. ---

Another upgrade, albeit a modest one: **1983 Stand and Deliver** (over Heartbreak Ridge) Covers the 1982-1983 school year (my senior year!), but I would say the movie’s major events (and movie minutes) skew a little more to 1983. ---

It would be an arduous task, but I’m betting that’s not the only movie that got left out during the updating process. I should probably go through the thread and see if any others were missed or deleted during the updates. ---

Some more: A couple more: **2015 Robocop** **1947 Tucker: A Man and His Dream 1959 Dead Poets Society Born on the 4th of July** – but I’m not sure the ideal year in which it would be entered; ---
