I dunno, that’s no worse than most of the other rap I’ve come across, can’t see any difference really. Hard to tell which is supposed to be good or which is supposed to be bad. ---

A complete inability to take a step back and critically evaluate their own work. Because with just a few tweaks this guy could be awesome. The fence, for example - it’s a powerful symbol. The hole, obviously a metaphor. There’s power there, waiting. The way that his mouth and the words don’t match adds a whole new layer of meaning. Two layers. There’s the words, there’s the words formed by his mouth, and there’s the combination of the two. So that’s three strands of meaning. Most pop videos only have one. But Boy George had the excuse that he was drugged out of his mind, whereas this man looks as if he would benefit from taking \*more \*drugs, not less. ---

Their families are apparently similarly oblivious. ---
